I decided to put a motivational quote on the back of my shirt for the marathon. I've narrowed it down, but am open to new suggestions! If you suggest a new one, the only rule is it has to be a short quote so people can read it.
I'm not sure where you guys get those fancy polls, so just leave comments!
Here are the ones I have it narrowed down to:
"The real purpose of running isn't to win a race; it's to test the limits of the human heart."
- Bill Bowerman
"When everything seems to be going against you,
remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it."
- Henry Ford
"The difference between the unattainable and the attainable lies in a person's determination."
"Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true."
- Leon J. Suenes
"What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals."
Thanks!
-Doug

Thanks for answering my question homie! Will take note of that when the snow starts coming.
Dang you're a speedy one with the posts. I get done with my roll and then I see you have 2 new ones LOL
Anyway . . . I dig the 1st one and also the 3rd one. Either of those. Let me just tell you . . .from reading your past couple posts and the energy exuded from them. I think you'll be FINE come race day. You've got the same amount of energy I have after about 12 cups of coffee LMAO!
Henry Ford, absolutely! I might steal your idea, in fact!
I like the first one.
ARe you sure all this will fit on a shirt? Just wondering.
Fun idea for sure.
I think that you should go with a Bill Rogers quote from around mile 16 of his first marathon: "Why couldn't Phedippedes have died here?"
I kid, I kid...
I like the second to last one!
Oh I love the Henry Ford quote!!!!!!
