- I used to be a runner, until fall 2007 when injury kept me from running. Biking and swimming took the place of running, and I absolutely loved the variety it brought to my training. It stuck. Now I dare call myself a triathlete, not a runner. But I still go at it in the only way I know how: with a little bit of umph!

Cool picture man. And you look pretty psyched after getting in a nice run in the rain. I don't know what it is, but there are those times when I like to get out there in the really nasty stuff because I know i've kind of got it all to myself.. do you know what I mean? I guess in some ways it is like getting out to your favorite running spot while everyone else is still asleep.
